when I was twenty years old, I decided to be a surrogate mother. Coming from a
poor family, I needed the money, which was a lot. The idea of having a child
that wouldn't be mine in my belly didn't appeal to me but the money did.That decision left me with a reality I could never live with. I couldn't have a baby. I never would. Imagine how devastated I became. I shrunk into a shell of depression. I told no one, not even my ma. Two years later, I met my prince charming and we got married soon. He is an only child and adores little kids, girls especially.
He wants one of his own, I do too but I can't and I never told him. He his everything a woman could want, everything I've ever wanted but I don't want him to be disappointed in me. He thinks I am not yet ready but he doesn't know I would never be ready.
There is no way I can lie to him forever and there's no way I am telling him the truth. He might lose interest in me. What solutions can you proffer dear readers?
